How does bin rental work in the GTA?
It’s pretty simple. You pick a bin size, book your delivery online or by phone, and we drop it off at your home or job site. You fill it up at your own pace during your 7-day rental period. When you’re done, call or text us and we’ll come pick it up and dispose of everything properly. That’s it.
What size bin do I need for a bathroom or kitchen renovation?
For a single bathroom or kitchen renovation, a 10-yard or 14-yard bin is usually the right fit. The 10-yard holds about 60 garbage bags worth of debris — drywall, tiles, cabinets, flooring. If you’re doing both rooms at the same time, go with the 14-yard to give yourself more room. Not sure? Just call us and we’ll help you decide.
What can I put in a rental bin?
You can put most household junk, renovation debris, furniture, drywall, flooring, shingles, wood, metal, and general construction waste in the bin. Things like soil, concrete, and bricks go in a separate bin due to the weight. If you’re not sure about a specific item, just ask — we’d rather answer the question than have you stuck.
How long can I keep a rental bin?
Every rental comes with 7 days included. If you need more time, just let us know — we charge $25 per extra day and we’re always flexible. Life happens, projects run long. We get it.
Hazardous materials are not allowed in any bin. This includes paint, chemicals, solvents, propane tanks, batteries, tires, electronics, and anything medical or biohazardous. These materials need to go to a special disposal facility. If you have questions about specific items, give us a call — we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
If the bin is going on your driveway, you typically don’t need a permit. If it needs to go on the street or boulevard, most municipalities in Durham Region require a road occupancy permit. Rules vary by city. Give us a call and we’ll let you know exactly what’s needed for your specific address and municipality.
Our bin rentals start at $299 for a 5-yard bin and go up to $995 for a 40-yard bin. All rentals include a 7-day rental period. There’s a $25/day fee if you need the bin longer, and additional weight charges if your load exceeds the included tonnage. Everything is explained upfront — no surprises on your bill.
